Govt Doctor Raped 56-year-old Cleaner

That's the problem when anyone with just one A-level passes can get into the Medical Faculty. And this is true for Bumiputras only. A former doctor of a government hospital was charged in a Sessions Court here with three counts of sex-related offences committed last year.

Ahmad Ahnaf Kamarulizham, 31, was accused of allegedly having sex with a 56-year-old cleaner without her consent and charged under Section 377CA of the Penal Code.

Ahmad Ahnaf, who is now jobless, faces a second charge of showing his private part and masturbating in front of the victim, and for indecency.

He faces a third charge of molesting the woman, and was accused under Section 354 for assault or use of criminal force on a person with intent to outrage modesty.

The offences were allegedly committed in a room at Level 5 of the hospital’s complex between 10.30am and 11.30am on March 18 last year.

Prosecuting officer Asst Supt Muhamad Sapri Yaakub did not offer bail.

In asking for a lower bail, Ahmad Ahnaf’s counsel Fahmi Abd Moin said his client’s wife was six months pregnant and he has two young daughters.

Fahmi said Ahmad Ahnaf was a medical officer at a government hospital but tendered his resignation on Nov 2, adding that his wife who is also a medical officer, was supporting the family.

Sessions Court judge Shamsudin Abdullah then fixed RM12,000 bail in one surety pending mention on Sept 28.

He also instructed Ahmad Ahnaf to report to the nearest police station once a month.

In another case, AFTER robbing a woman of her cash and valuables, a burglar returned to her room and raped her, reported China Press.

The robber ignored her pleas to be spared the sexual assault because she was having her period.

The incident, which happened on Monday at 11.30am, took place at a residence in Taman Bukit Serdang in Seri Kembangan.

The suspect, a Bangladeshi, had entered the house from the ceiling and found some cash in the woman’s room, said Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Megat Mohd Aminuddin Megat Alias.

From another room, he stole some foreign currency and other valuables.

The woman was asleep at that time.

The man then returned to the woman’s room and wanted to tie her up.

Awoken, the woman begged the man not to rape her as she was menstruating.

The man, however, brandished a knife and ordered her to take off her clothes.

“The suspect then fled the scene with two cameras, RM150 cash and some foreign notes.

“He even locked all the entrances to prevent the victim from running out,” he said, adding that the victim later managed to free herself before getting help from her neighbours.
